Lilihan Rugs are produced in city of Arak by Armenians in Persia. Hamadan Rug Weave, which is a single weft technique is commonly applied to lilihan rugs. The wefts are woven with symmetrical knots. As a result, a single shot weft appear between each row of knots. This makes lilihan rugs straightforward to identify.
This partifular rug has the traditional curvilinear lattice design with traditional floral motifs. There are over 18 different floral designs, each appear four times ateach sections of the rug. The geometric design is another primary trademark of Lilihan Rugs design.
