This information includes your names, address, phone number and email address. Credit or debit card details will only be held momentarily during the processing of a transaction. We will not store your credit or debit card details.
We will hold personal information for the purpose of processing orders and for promotional offers and advertising material in respect of our products and services. Once we receive your order and payment in full (including any applicable delivery charges) we will email you to confirm acceptance to the address provided on your order details. This will create a legally binding contract between us whether or not you receive the email. We reserve the right not to supply you or to cancel orders at our discretion. In the case of us cancelling your order, you will not be entitled to any compensation for disappointment suffered.
Delivery takes between 2 to 5 working days within the United Kingdom, unless otherwise stated in the detailed product page
Right to cancel by customers
You have the right to cancel your contract at any time up to the end of the fourteen working days from the date you receive the ordered goods. You do not need to give any reason for cancelling your order
To cancel your contract you must notify us in writing, address to Oriental Rug Gallery, 87 Mansfield Road, Nottingham, NG1 3FN or by emailing us at email@example.com. If you received the goods before cancellation of the contract then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received, send it back to us at our contact address above at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods in question are returned and received by us in the condition they were delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods and the amounts to be re-credited to you
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in writing at our contact address of the problem within 3 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
Dispatching of products outside the UK normally takes 2-3 weeks, if you do not receive the goods ordered within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, you will need to notify us in writing at our contact address within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify us our obligation will be:-
(a) To make good any shortage or non-delivery;
(b) To replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective; or
(c) To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.
We will not be responsible for further shipping costs.

Prices are as quoted on the website at the time you place your order, and delivery charges will be applied at the checkout. All prices and delivery charges quoted are valid and effective.
All orders for products are subject to stock availability.
Care has been taken with descriptions of all items shown on the website but due to most of our products being handmade there might be a slight variation in colour, size etc. Colours and sizes of the goods you receive may differ slightly to those displayed on your monitor. All dimensions and weights given are those supplied by the manufacturers and are deemed to be accurate. However, if you have any queries please call or email prior to placing an order. If you are dissatisfied with an item you may of course return it, subject to conditions of returns.
Returns and refunds policy
If you are not satisfied with the order you have received , you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery. We will exchange or refund any unused items returned to us, as sold in their original condition. Before returning items please send us an email stating your reason. Once we have received back the items in their original condition we shall process your refund. If we arrange the return of non-faulty goods to us, then the cost price of the return carriage and delivery charge will be deducted from the refund due to you. If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery, we will exchange the items or issue a full refund to you. Refunds will be paid within 30 days of receipt of the returned order.
If we are unable to supply any of the goods ordered and you are unwilling to accept a delay in delivery we shall offer an immediate refund. Your statutory rights are not affected.
